Default Window winding down while away from car!

It's happened a couple of times now - I've left my car and the driver side window is definitely up, I get back to the car several hours later and the window is down all the way!

It's booked in at the main stealer for them to have a look but as it only does it occasionally I don't quite know what they'll do?

    Anyone heard of this before?

    Cheers,
    Adam

sure you're not in range of the remote and had the key in your pocket...even when walking away??

holding down the open button will wind down the windows by themselves..

I thought that as a possibility but it's only the driver side window down - If it was due to me catching the key then I'd have thought both windows would be down.

not entirely true - you can wind down just the drivers side window by holding down the close button and then the open button when the car is locked.

event of this happening without you knowing - VERY slim!!

    Default Get it sorted?

Did you get this fault fixed? I only ask as i got a call from my neighbour a couple of hours ago as the torrential rain was falling he noticed my drivers window was open.

Funnily enough i am going to the dealers in the morning to get my tow-bar activated. If i ask them to have a look will they be able to tell my why the window opened itself?

It's been in the dealers today - apparantly a BCM replacement was required.

Service guy claims it's a common fault on the Corsa but mine was the first Vectra he's seen.

What year / model Vec have you got? Mine's a 54 LS 1.8

Whats a BCM ? Mine's a 05 LS (life really but i hate that!) 1.8. It's only happened the once so far but i'm now worried what happens if it's in a town centre somewhere or a multi-storey. Any scrote can help themselves to anything in the car
