    Default question on poor mpg

ok guys another thread from me,,,but i have come to the conclusion that my cdti sri 150 is brutal bad on fuel,,,, i mean crazy bad,,,,so heres my question,,,is it possible that when i was changing my injector seals and disconnecting my leak off pipes ,,that air could have got into the fuel lines ??? or when i was changing my fuel filter ,,,air could have got into fuel lines too ????

i serviced the car fully around 1000mile ago,,,and have added redex to a full tank once or twice in the last while... and i was thinking the same about leaks,,,but i cant see leaks any where nor can i smell diesel from anywhere,,,, i had a 2litre petrol car before this,,and that was easier ran than my veccy

Check injector pipes. Mine weren't fully tightened up after my mechanic bled the system and diesel was leaking. I could only smell it under full throttle.

Pretty sure not meant to redex that often as can cause seal issues.

Look at back of block where egr is as I found a small leak from there.

well the computer is reading an average of 40 mpg mate,,,but it feels more like 20 mpg,,,,thats why i thought there could have been air in the system or sumthing leaking

Fill it up, empty the tank, fill up again. Write down the miles and do some calculations. You'll get a definitive answer whether it's really that bad on mpg.
