    Default 19 cdti sri brakes

    Hi
i'm needing to replace my front brake pads and discs on my 57 plate sri 150, what size are the discs and best place to buy.

Also whats the interval for changing timing belt, driving to south of france later this year so dont want to risk it.

Best place to buy is from Vauxhall, get the "pad and disk kit". Insist on the kit, as buying pads and disks as two separate items is a lot more expensive.

Cheaper from www.autovaux.co.uk and will be the same parts, or meet OEM.

They're no cheaper than Vx trade club, as the Autovaux prices don't include VAT or delivery.

Come with free pads and 1yrs warranty from vx. Anything from vx goes wrong, you take the car to vx and they will replace it labour free.

I got the disc & pad kits from vx for the front & rears for my cdti iirc they were around £55 per set inc vat so total around £110 for the lot.

What's your current mileage... Some folk & VX may say you are ok to change between 80 - 100k, i would allow mine to go any more than 60k on the same belt & water pump tbh...
