    Eek what's the top speed on an 04 plate 2.0dti estate.....

    so what is it - anyone taken theirs up that far?

    How did it behave?

    Private race track 2.0 dti astra mk4 115 and i gave up being brave im a wimp.

    Mine's a 2.2 so has a little more power but got to 88mph and went back in time.

    Official max speed 115mph. Certainly achievable if the car is running as it should (long run-up, tail wind, slipstream LOL).

    I used to have a 59bhp Astra Mk3 max speed 99mph, and I took delight in eventually breaking the 100mph barrier on the speedo, but it was virtually undriveable.

    on a 'closed section of the M1' i got to 110 and it felt solid. just a little loud and seemed to have a bit more to go.

    ive had 124 recorded on the sat nav in mine so it was probably a little higher, felt like it was about to give in though, its comfortable at 115

    ah chill out dwabo....

    Yeah was just wondering what sort of power it would produce....drove an estate at 115 once and it felt solid like u say.....

    need to give mine a service come to think of it...
