Do they have anymore as I am looking at fitting it to my car too
Andy, do you know whats needed for the old type system that works off the ABS sensors, just half Can cars I believe. It only shows sudden deflation hence why it uses the ABS sensors to calibrate wheel circumference.
the vectra can work without receivers ,but the cid/display only show the bar if you car speed its low,if you car run the speed a 100km,sorry the display can´t show the wheer bar!!!I have tried with out the receivers!!!!
Anyone know where I can get the kit from that isnt going to cost an arm and leg?
Theres a lot of folks looking but you can get it for about £300 if you are prepared to go to a main dealers or you can get second hand sensors that may or may not work, theres a guy selling on German ebay at the moment but his controller is an Astra H one buyer beware and he wants £120 but thats basically for 4 sensors and you can get them new of off ebay for that.
vectra c does not run off the abs sensors thats why they have the
recievers which are manatory although astra h,corsa d,zafira b do not have
recievers as there controlled from the abs sensors and also theres a
certain abs unit.
heres the fitment as follows-
vectra c upto 04 will require a module,4 recievers and the tyre valve sensors
vectra c / signum from 04 only needs 2 recievers ,module and 4 tyre sensors
the relevant wiring must also be present but if not then it can be retro fitted
