Signum Gearbox Notchy!

I find the gearbox on my newly purchased signum 3.0 CDTI a ***** notchy, especially when going from 2nd to 3rd gear. It always goes into gear ok - it just doedn't feel as smooth as it might. Is it just me or is this worth getting looked at - the car's only 10 months old with 11k miles. Maybe its just a feature of this gearbox - perhaps someone with a bit more knowledge can advise.

Mine always feels a bit notchy at low speed when it's cold, but smooths out as it warms up.
I think a few folks have had major gearbox issues on the 3.0 engine, though.

The gearbox in my 1.9cdti is quite nice , the one in the 1.8 renter is 5 speed and notchy as hell horrid thing.
