2.2 DTi exhaust - pipe diameter

Hi guys.

Been doing some reserch on an exhaust and speaking to a local company up here that said they would do me a good deal, but they would need the car for a full day because they don't have the pipe dimensions etc for a 2.2 DTi. They do have moulds for other engines though so do any of the other Vectra exhausts bolt on to a 2.2 DTi? Just means they'll charge me less if they don't have to mock up the entire exhaust system!

The 2.2 DTi has a 55mm diameter if I remember right.. I believe this is the same as the 1.9 CDTi, but can't say for definite.

the centre section and back box on the 2.0/2.2dti and 120/150 cdti are all the same

Brilliant. Do the pipes follow the same path? I guess they would have to. If so I can just use the 1.9 moulds.

I have a 1.9 centre section on my car, direct fit

when i cut the cat out i used 2" od pipe up the inside of original pipe which is 21/4" od

Cheers guys. As long as I know the parts are the same then that's one bit sorted, just the route the pipe takes through the car now concerns me. The boxes might be the same but the route the pipe takes might be different!

Does anyone have any photos to compare or anything?
