    Default Collinite 476s wax supplier

    Hi Guys,

I've been asked a lot lately which wax I would recommend for total winter protection and the answer is Collinite 476s, followed closely by Megs #16, Collinite is one of the most durable waxes there is, but there appears to be a supply problem i.e. everybody is buying and stripping the shelves of the suppliers

The following is a link to a supplier who does have it in stock: -

    http://www.shipshapenorfolkltd.co.uk/products.php?cat=5

It's slightly more expensive but they do give free P&P.

Also, just so everyone knows, I have no connection what so ever with this company and I have never used them.

Thanks Bryan for the Public Service Detailing Broadcast.

I've got a bit of Natty's left and then I'm trying either Collinite Marque D'Elegance Wax or Pinnacle Souveran ontop of my PB EXP. I'm impressed by the optical clarity that this has given me on Star Silver.

    Hi Scott.......happy birthday to ya

The only thing about Souveran is that the durability is not good, only 2 to 4weeks probably 2 in winter, I was suggesting Collinite with the winter in mind

Using Souveran you'll be topping up every 5mins

    Bryan

PS you're rite about the clarity of Souveran though!!

    That's a point eh

If it was me I'd be putting the Souveran away until the summer and getting something more durable for the winter, Souveran is way to expensive just to have it wash off every week or 2 then have to put more on.....just a thought
