Default Vectra wiper problem - any advice appreciated - Vectra C

Vectra wiper problem - any advice appreciated - Vectra C
I have posted this question before but not found a solution so trying to word it in a different way in the hope I can find a solution.

    Vauxhall Vectra LS 16v - registered 31 Jan 2003
    Petrol
    2 axle rigid body
    2198cc
    52 reg Vectra C

Wipers only work on top high speed and not on any of lower speeds and does not self park in correct position. Washers work fine.

I have had three different wiper motors fitted this week and the problem is the same on all three so Im assuming its not the motor thats faulty. I have had all fuses checked in all three fuse boxes and they are all fine. The only other fault I can find is that the temprature display on the dashboard clock is not working. But this may be unrelated.

Based on the above info, does anybody have any idea as to how I can resolve this or what to look at without putting it into a dealer to get parted with ££££.

Surely at least one person on this site must have had this problem and resolved it.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    thanks

    its the cim mate.

to follow on... a mate of mine had the same symptoms and he rung a local mechanic that mannaged to bypass it and put the wipers back to normal..

i told me mate that it was a cim problem and could only be sorted by replacing the cim but this mechanic fella bypassed the cim and put his wipers back to normal..

He was prob lucky to find someone who knew how to do that. I guess I will try get a CIM tommorow from breakers. Does anyone know if its something that can easily be replaced or is it worse than that?
