Shifting

Is anyone else struggling to shift there veccys?! I just can't shift mine.. I know there's the whole "reccession" going on but I just can't seem to get any interest at all.

I'm running out of room on the drive

£2400 for an 2002...... Mines an 04 with 49K and doubt mine is worth a penny over £2k tbh. As Sig says supply and demand, there are plenty to choose from out there.

I paid 1600 for my 53 2.2 dti with 102k on it.

i did try and sell the old volvo but very few got back to me.

hmm I just based my price on what other were selling at. Stupid buying market!! and you're both right... there are hundreds out there! Just have to pray

I tried to sell mine twice £500 under parkers price on standard model, mine has loadsa extras and low mileage, FSH etc and only had 1 interest, but he pulled out due to redundancy lol......... I wanted quick sale as I had my eyes on a vxr boohoo.

Decided to keep it now though as I love it hehe

when i bought mine it had sat on the forecourt for 4 months, bought it in march, full years m.o.t. 07 plate, they said nothing was moving, main dealers were throwing in £500 worth of fuel plenty of discount, and hardly shifted anything

i,ve got 55 face lift 1.9 cdti 150 model i will be lucky 2 get 2.5k
sorry but urs is well over priced
ur looking at around £1000-1500 mate

Yep had same response from Volvo dealership. Went up with the father in law. The guy said new car sales are going rather well but second hand sales are dead and they just cant shift the cars. They were offering warranty,free fuel,next service and mot free with 2nd hand cars.....

The problem is there are great deals out there to be had currently, but like most people I need to sell before I buy, part exchange is just silly money.
