Default getting astra twintop tomoz, any good?

well going back too having convertible and we are trading the swift sport in for a very nice astra twintop 1.8 vvti design in star silver with 27k miles on it,its a cracking motor with good spec and drives very nice indeed ,has anyone owned one? if so how did they find it? we had alot of probs with our previous convertible a volkswagen eos 2.0 fsi sport and im hoping the$ astra turns out to be more reliable with none of the probs we had with eos

Also make sure the roof is dry before retracting it. (sun after a down poor).

My mate works at my local dealer as a salesman, went out to drop the roof, it was still wet from a small shower, he got alot of water down his back, due to how the roof folds.

As already said, check the roof is quiet when going up or down, they can stick.

Make sure the roof is fully operational and works as it should. If they go faulty they can be troublesome & expensive to repair. And as Keif said if the roofs wet when its getting put down the chances are you/car interior will get dripped on due to being a 3-piece folding roof.

Generally speaking though the roof design is a good and reliable one, Ive only ever sold one Twintop which had roof issues, the rest never had any at all.
