oil filter and managment light

this might sound a stupid question,were is the oil filter on my 2006cdti 150bhp,tried to look this morning but could not see it,also my managment lights come on,lost no power or nothing but my local garage wanted £50 to give me the fault codes,i have seen a garage somewere in walsall doing ecu diagnostic for £15 but cant remember were i seen it so is there any local lads know were it is or somewere thats cheaper then £50,

Try this trick for reading the fault codes. Once you get the codes, post them up in here and we'll tell you what the code descriptions are:

thanks for the reply,tried this morning went through the procedure 4 times and nothing is happening the light does not flash,what does that mean
