I assume you mean tech2? If so then it is the handheld device that plugs into Vauxhalls to program, diagnose and fix and electrical gremlins.

had a tech 2 session at the dealers today (couldn't solve the problem so they're gonna use a tech32 tomorrow) just wondering what it was.

I've never heard of it either...done a google search and got nothing.

they (the main dealers) said they were going to get it in tomorrow from Ellesmere port (so i assume it's a specialist bit of kit they have).

As per benny, its a hand held oscilloscope.

The TECH 32 hand oscilloscope is a digital, battery-powered, multifunction, oscilloscope with two (2) input
channels and an illuminated LCD screen.

Using the TECH 31 or TECH 32 hand oscilloscope, this test system was developed into a new mobile test
instrument, which permits the diagnosis of, for example, elementary engine functions (alternator, ignition, etc.)
and of engine system components (sensors).

as i said its a great tool....able todo things other tools cant ...even had a comprestion test function to do a comprestion test useing only the battery / starter pull ...great for cars where it was hard to remove spark pkugs or glow plugs ...
