Default Rear Number Plate LED Lights fitted

I changed from the standard bulbs to Mtec 501's but still was not happy with the level of brightness they gave so I change them tonight for http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/error-f...ite-p-495.html As they say no errors appear.

I have these for the my front side lights (love em) http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/501-error-free-8-smd-led-sidelights-bulbs-white-p-497.html but thought they may be a bit too much for the rear.

Please excuse the quality of the pics as they were taken with my iphone 3gs and you don't get the exact idea (but close) of how white the light is.

They do flash 11 (or so) times when the car is locked but that does not bother me and its something you get used too with LEDS. I'll tell people its the aftermarket alarm or something.

Going to think about changing the interior light from Mtec 501's to (again) something a bit brighter then just the fogs to do then im happy for 5 mins at least.

This modding lark pulls you in doesn't it, never is enough

Mtec 501's on the left and the new LED on the right

    Thanks Kev A

I even pulled the misses out of the house (when dark) and asked her to unlock the car just to see what I had been doing. With LED's in the front and back it now looks like a UFO just landed for them 10 -16 seconds.

Sad as it is I do like it

Did you ever tell your mate the truth btw?

Could you let me know how the interior goes? I wasn't sure if I would get a flashing disco affect inside the car whilst driving if I fitted them.

You won't regret fitting them to the rear and if like me you will be on that key fob alone in the dark saying to yourself "Ok just one more time them click click"

Yip but I don't think the interior is part of the bulb check system. Fail in that I will find some use for them.

    Hi Lee

I was not sure so I just plumbed for the error free ones to be on the safe side.
