Help!!

My engine block symbol on the dash of my 2.2 direct came on for approx 10 miles on the way home from work yesterday and I had intended for the car to go to the local stealers to have it checked out. However when I drove it to work this morning the light did not come on. Has this happened to any one before and should I still contact the stealers etc etc. Don't know what to make of it as the car drove as per normal.

if it re-appears again, then yes..

a code will have been stored and they should be able to tell you what it is straight away..

as the car still runs fine then i wouldn't rush out to do it, not unless it occurs again.
