Talking Yay... I can drive again

I reported in a previous thread that I'd got a 'blown' right knee from a tackle playing football... the doctors at the time told me I was not to drive

Well just seen the Orthopedic Surgeon and disussed my MRI results, x-ray results and clinical examinations and he's happy with the recovery and stability of my knee so far and can no longer see any reason why I can't drive again.

All I need to do now is persuade my mate who's been looking after my car for the last 6 weeks to give it me back....

Could have had a look for a left hand drive auto, but no need now. Good result - when you get your car back.

It's totally painless and non-intrusive, however it was very noisy even with the headphones on but I still managed to keep dozing off to it's rhythmic sounds...lol... I can imagine that it's quite claustrophobic if you are fully immersed into the machine but I was only in up to my chest. You'll be fine mate...

Now got the car back and did my first mod within 10 minutes... I fitted the cup holder with the sliding lid & chrome handle.... I just couldn't wait... the missus stood in the kitchen watching me and shaking her head in dispair... lol
