Default 2.2 dti: panel or cone filter ?

what pips think is better and why
maybe more turbo wistle noise or is there more air suply
or due to cone is too open so too much hot air going in wich can't be good
    ..
K&N do direct replacement panel and also cone induction kit
    so what you think....?

Best sticking to a panel filter on the dti as they don't tend to react well to open cone filter

A decent panel filter and both of the airbox mods will give you a bit more rumble.
