Default GREAT (!!) start to the day.

Well as the above says, what a start, hope its a better day than the start.

I popped round to my mum and dads on the way to work this morning and thought im only going to be 5 mins so ill leave my car just in the shared drive part, half hanging in our drive and half in the shared.

Then I heard a glass break, thought must be the binmen, but then thought its Tuesday, rubbish collection is Wednesday.

Next thing, the door bell goes ding dong!!!!

Next door neighbour lady says ive just knocked your car, I was ina a hurry so thought I could get past (and may I point out that there was a truck load of space).

Anyway, she lost a light from her Mk5 Escort (scrap it)!!! and I got a grazed and holed bumper!

So, thats my bad start to the day!!!

I must add that I was actually laughing about it because of the amount of room there was to get past and when the lady said sorry. I actually felt sorry for her coz she is a nice lady.

That is a **** start to the day my friend, but hey, at least they knocked the door!

I watched a woman hit my insignia and then watched her drive off! So at least you know you can get it fixed. Up here we say "break a match", that stops any run of bad luck

    *hugs*

At least it's only a scuffed/cracked bumper. As long as she squares you up for a new one it's all good. These things happen

At first I thought OH MY GOD, she has probably yaken the quarter and rear light, but I was releieved that it was ONLY the bumper!
My back lights alone were £80 as they are the Jewels so im glad she missed that!

At least she had the common decency to knock on your door and inform you of the mishap.

Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

She seems like a decent person so hopefully she'll stump up for the repair

I have already located one for £70 and its the same colour. But want to try and see if I can find one with a skirt/rear apron fitted. Otherwise, ill ask for £100 cash for the time and part. Sound fair?
Im being picky coz mine was MINT prior to this, so I want a MINT one back and not have to paint it.
    Makes sense doesnt it?
