turbo boost fault 30ltr cdti

hi guys my 30cdti vec has a turbo boost fault it seems to be in full boost and has fault codes 0235 and 1571 , 0235 says boost pressure sensor circuit a malfunction and 1571 says brake light switch malfunction .
the boost sensor has been changed and vac pipes checked and turbo varibale vanes cleaned . would the brake pedal swith have any bearing on the boost control the brake lights are working ok and the cruise control works ok any advise would be great many thanks in advance

Been a while since you were on here

Now I don't exactly remember the fault code on my old 3.0 (definitely wasn't MAF related), but I had problems with boost too. I cleaned the MAF sensor and it was fine for a bit, so you could try that.

hi i havnt been on the site for a bit i have read a few posts from time to time but ive been busy ect thanks for your reply i will check the maf the car has been fine since i had the fault with the stealers mucking up the belt tensioner . ive stripped the turbo ect that was ok just sems to be over boosting but it is dam quick at the moment just dont want to burst the intercooler ect
