Default Slight problem with my headlight washers...suggestions on a postcard

In February I completed my headlamp washer install with great sucess.

Then I facelifted the car in March and left the headlamp washers disconected until I bought the facelift headlamp washers.

So now I have the facelift washer jets fitted, can anyone guess what problem I have now

The pre-facelift cars don't have fancy headlamp washers and just give 2 squirts of water onto the headlamp. When the facelift jets are connected the 2 squirts are just enough to lift the jets out of the hole but no water comes out Anyone got a clever idea possibly using relays and resistors

Might be different hoses mate with different internal diameters. I remember ordering the pre-made hose for the facelift and discovering it didn't fit the washer connections on the pre-facelift. There wasn't a pre-made assembly for the it which I assume must have something to do with it. Or the pump is a different part number...

I suggest you have a blockage somewhere then make - there's nothing electrical in the system apart from the pump...

Do the facelifts give two short blasts or one

I've managed to get the system to work using an air compressor and it will push the jets up and air will come out. When using the water all that will happen is that the jets will pop up twice. I don't think the pump is running long enough for water to come out

mines just 1 long blast , enough to pop up the jets and spray the headlamps for a second

Did you just blow it right through or did you match the output pressure of the pump?
