The breeder of one of my wife's showcats has been after him back for some time. His brother won't perform and ours was winning stuff.
Finally, she made us an offer we couldn't refuse, good price, home for life, rah rah rah. Had to be done asap on a day of her choice.
So, off we went to Coventry Services to meet her, close as we could get to half way. Drove through heavy rain and spray making sure we got there in time, she was late. Did the deed, signed the papers - then it started. The *****ing. She'd had to put fuel in to meet us half way - yeah, right, and mine runs on fresh air. We could have made her come full distance!
The cat wasn't vaccinated up to date - she knew that, said it was fine, and we couldn't get it done in the 2 days notice she gave us.
The price was too much - hello, she set the price, but apparently what she told us was a pack of lies so we'd hand the cat over. Pardon us for believing it. Finally, she wanted me to guide her back to the M1 as she wasn't capable, with a satnav, of finding J3A of the M6 to turn around at.
We led her to J3A and left her and her satnav to it. My head hurts!

He wasn't a pet, he was a show cat, Wendy's fed up with the attitudes of people at the shows "win at all costs" and probably not going to bother anymore. He liked going to the shows, he's won a lot of stuff and a relatively scarce breed. We do have cats that are pets, he wasn't one of them.
Just to make my week, someone knicked the valve caps off both cars Thursday night, replaced them, my set got taken again Friday night. Back to the plastic ones.

Lol, your dad was right, but why do the nutters always find me? Been happening since I was in mid teens, we used to laugh at Jasper carrot and his "nutter on the bus" sketch as if there were any about, they'd find me.
Was out for a quiet pint once with a mate. We'd gone to a real ale pub near London Bridge. Happily sat there, an old lady came in, made a beeline for our table, and sat down. We took no notice.
The she piped up "I walked across the park to get here" We said "good for you", carried on. Then she said "but I wasn't afraid" - same reply from us.
Next she whipped out a potato peeler, held it under my nose and said "because I had THIS with me, and they don't like the cold steel, no, they don't"
We left, hurrriedly.

Haha I always seem to attract the weird "I wanna be your friend" touchy feely one min then argumentative the next sort of people! My gf never understands it I get mauled when we are aborad or at home.

Do you think we have been fitted with a secret device that allows them to track us? I had a guy have a go at me the other week about parking in B&Q he was really ranting, I said hold on what are you going on about? It wasn't even my bl00dy car! I was parked about 10m from him! No sorry or anything just got in his car and raced off with me wishing I had punched him in the head and the gf looking at me as if to say WTF was that about?

We should start a group "Just leave us alone you weirdos" and print some t-shirts!
