Towbar wiring

Hi folks, quick question.

I've got a vectra c hatchback on a 57 please, fitted twin electrics from a 08 plate x lease vectra. Not best impressed with the non gen set up, easy enough to wire up but the split charge relay doesn't give out a permanent live, and after towing a caravan both brake light bulbs blew at the same time.

Moving forward I want to fit genuine 13 pin tow socket with trailer module. The only reason I didn't fit before was the thought of having to pay out more to have Tech 2'd to activate.

But I've looking into this a bit closer, fuse 13 does have a live to it, put a fuse fuse in and one of the larger pins in the tow socket comes live as does some of the small pins where the module plugs in. So going on this do you think I'll be safe enough to by the kit and should work without booking into the stealers?

Forgot to as does anyone know the part no of a 13 pin kit with trailer module included. Tile hill Vauxhall quoted £90 but wasnt sure if it came with the module.

I've got the VX twin towing electrics fitted to my 56 plate Veccy C and the only problem I have is that the side lights come on with the brake lights

Apart from that all works fine, fridge etc so maybe yours isn't wired up right? Does it wire into the REC in the boot?
