Default Help!! Club stickers application issue

Can someone please help me? I got my Vec-c.com stickers today and trying to fit them i peeled off the backing paper only to find that half of the letters come off with it and the other half stay on is there a method on how to remove it without pulling the letters off the other piece of paper?

It could be that you've just got a duff one there. Pop 'em back to the PO Box address and I'll get Gary to post you out replacements.

Best way is to remove the backing paper slowly and at an angle, Peel the paper backing off of the sticker to expose the sticky side. Do not peel the top layer off. If the backing paper doesnt come away first time, lay the sticker down flat and apply pressure face down (to make sure there is a good bond between the top layer and the sticker itself making it easier for the backing paper layer to peel away.

Meant to say. Are you meaning that backing paper is coming off in the shape of the letters, or simply that some letters are being left behind on the backing paper?

If the first then they're duff so send back. If the second then do what Pete said.

Yeah I used a 5p to make sure the letters were properly attached to the paper before I peeled it off then pressed hard with a MF cloth to bond the letters to the glass before final removal of the paper

Yep, that's the way. Also, once attached to the glass, when you start to pull off the front release paper if you hold the edge of a credit card against the release paper as you peel it off it stops the letters lifting off the glass with the release paper.

I shall remember these techniques when I get a large one for my back window, also, so glad they arrived today as I'm going camping tomorrow so will be able to put the word out about Vec-C.com
