    Angry genuine part search

has any one had any problems with genuine part search

i ordered a y30dt timing belt tensioner from them 3 weeks ago and it hasnt arrived
ive received the receipt to show ive paid for it but not the item itself

ive emailed them 4 times in the last week and have received no reply at all , i do understand theres been a lot of bank holidays but they still should have replied by now

not a happy bunny as i have had to go out and buy one so i can do my timing belt today

Hi Mark ive used them. they get the parts from other vx dealers around the country . so you pay them and they then look to see who has it in stock . im waiting on a door module coming so dean can program it for the folding mirrors on my car . you can phone autovaux as they are part off them . khalid

the vectra has gone , but not far away so ill still see it form time to time

Only good comments about them so far, myself included.

The way it works is that, unlike the AutoVaux side where the parts are on their shelf, the GPS side of it has sourced them from dealers around the country and it's the dealer that ships them directly to you.

It could be that the dealer hasn't got their finger out, and of course the numerous recent bank holidays won't have helped, but doesn't explain why they haven't replied to your e-mail. As Khalid said, probably best to just give them a call.

I can't see that happening. If the dealer doesn't ship it (can't find it, sold it already at the parts desk etc.) then GPS will simply refund you. As said above, they're part of AutoVaux so not a fly by night company who've only been around a short while.
