    Default lowering a c

    whats the difference in springs on a veccy c?

    im looking at lowering my veccy 60mm and there is only 1 set on ebay but it just says 'vectra c'

    mine is a elite 2.2dti saloon if it helps

    Not a good idea dropping it 60mm on standard shocks, I'm dropped 45mm on bilstien,s and occaisonly hit the bump stops. Change shocks as well for the b6's as well I think it is. Sure someone will confirm. Tim

    well the ones ive seen on ebay are uprated shocks fk's i think

    does it matter if i dont get the right ones for mine or are they a different set up for different models of vectra c?

    You will need to purchase the right springs for the weight of the car. If lowering 60mm You'd be better off buying coilovers. However B8's, if using 60mm drop springs, will be your best option as they are a mono tube designed for large drops.

    I wouldnt drop -80mm. You will hit every speed hump going provided you dont get marooned on it.

    I have -30mm and scrape my under tray sometimes.
