Default Best way to feed wires down the dash from the screen area

    Hi guys.

My sat-nav is doing my head in on the windscreen all the time so I'm going to mount it on the dash with a dashmount kit. I also don't like wires hanging around everywhere so I was wondering if anyone has wired down from the air vent area before? I'm going to put it on either the passenger or drivers side air vent next to the screen in the middle to keep it out of the way. Depends on how the bracket fits. Just want to run the wires behind the dash if possible. Cut into the cig lighter wires eventually for power.

    Cheers.

Pop off the long trim strip, and unscrew the 4 screws that hold the whole screen/vent assembly in, then you will be able to feed the wire down. you can pull the heater controls out, just by pulling on the left dial, the bottom cubby also just pulls out, just put your fingers in, push up and pull.
