noisy EGR 150 cdti

could this be EGR noise ?

noise sounds like its coming from the egr area

my erg dont sound like that it sounds like it sucking air from somewhere....and just to add it dont start very well do it could be linked??

yeah it does that sometimes if i stop and restart it, only does that on cheap asda or tesco derv

yer like its got a hole in the airbox.....theres point check airbox for leaks and as you sed erg is it lose?? has the pipe at the bottom come off?? id say no as im sure yoyr get limp mode but worth a look

i did have massive lose of power the other week then it has been ok since so i think i'll take the egr off and give it a clean and take it from there i think, its got 25k on the clock and not been touched yet.

local garage said it sounded like the egr had gone.

well start it and see if you can feel air being sucked in as it sounds like it sucking air cant see were it would suck air from if erg was ****ed id say its sucking air sounds like it sounds like a beast but it ent right so id say sucking air

and was it vx or kwik fit you went to lol
