I used to run 100w on the full beam on my vectra B, never had any problems with overheating wires/plugs etc.

They made a big difference to the B but I find the Xenpns on the C to be excellent as is the full beam.

I wouldn't run them on the dip as you'll have everybody flashing you as they're so much brighter than standard...try some phillips vision plus they work well on the dipped.

don't do it whatever you do ,not unless you want to possibly set fire to your car.you'll also get plenty of attention from the police, not to mention annoying other car drivers

I remember hearing of somebody who put in 100W main beams - I think into a B, maybe even a C. It melted the wires due to the extra current it was pulling!!

Just bought a set of PIAA Plasma Spark H7's on eBay.

They retail at about £60-£70 a pair, these have been in some blokes Lexus for 3 months and are "as new" and he had 'em at a "Buy it Now" price of £20!!!. Result!!!.

Will post some pics of 'em when they arrive and report back on how they perform.

Still planning on fitting HID's to my car very soon, but at that price I thought "what the hell" and bought the PIAA's anyway until I get the HID's fitted.
