Fault code P1482

I have fault code P1482 "Cooling fan speed output circuit" stored on my engine management system. Anyone with any ideas what to check for or items need replacing?

I have had this fault code intermittantly, it has been suggested that it may be a fault with cooling fan module , since my fan seems to be working correctly. There are a number of connections you can check and clean. This didn't work on mine, although it is rearing its ugly head less often. Failing that replace module. I haven't done this as it doesn't seem to cause any problems, just code. If your car isn't overheating, i wouldn't worry.
