Has anybody lowered the vectra C 60mm if so what was the ride like? did it rub at all?
Mine is an SRi with the stock 17" SRi wheels.
I'm looking at buying the FK springs and shocks, as don't really want coilovers as is to harsh a ride.

Due warning, a few people on here have bought the FK coil overs and taken them off again within a few weeks because they had real problems with them. You get what you pay for I'm afraid and the more expensive ones don't seem to cause any issues but the FK's do. Most people on here though tend to drop the car somewhere between 30-45mm as a general rule of thumb.
Some people have gone a lot lower on coil overs but it's personal choice of course, just not with FK's.

FK coilovers cheap? At £800 I think not.
Think your talking about the FK AK street kit, which is a crap piece of kit yes.
Like I said though I'm not looking at running their coilovers I want the spring and shock set.
Just wondering if anyone has gone this low and had problems with cvs or anything
Ahh, maybe, certainly seen several threads stating FK coilovers and major problems but I'm not familiar with the range so no idea.
Never seen anyone go lower than 45mm with springs/shocks combo (the PI springs drop 40/45 for saloon/hatch but not estate), but someone may correct me there.

I've got FK AK's and have no probs what so ever.. no twangs or knocks.. I think people only have an issue with this set up when they change it to FK AK's(because it's cheap) but don't consider their f%ked topmounts/bushes etc....as for lowering/cv probs.. I've only had problems with 'non' vx cv/drive shafts...drivers side is original vx and has covered 95k.. pass side got though 2 'non' vx ones in 9 months..now have vx one on pass side (think the price reflects quality..170 for non vx.... 530 for vx one )
Some people on the fk ak range have been lucky IMO mine were fitted along with all other parts replaced and the rear dampers on the coilovers packed up complexly with in a month along with the rear springs. Got a full refund tho so not so bad. Pay your money take ya chance lol or spend a little more for piece of mind.
cheers, for all advice, after looking at those pics, think will go about 40mm now
my fk coilovers burst the two rear shocks in about two months, wrote them a letter of complaint with still no reply, pure dung imo
