Great day today until...

I realised i have lost my phone and cant get through to orange to report it lost as they have some outage problem.

Been out all day up in perthshire with the missus having a picnic and nice drive (well in her corsa c so not all that nice lol) and realised i didnt have my phone but assumed i must have left it in the house but cant find the thing anywhere. Its set to vibrate as well so cant even hear it when i dial the number.

Then i phone orange to get automated messages about a merger outage that is being worked on, so tried to log into my bill onlt to find that part of their sites down also.

Now scared incase someone has it as its contract but until i can get through i've no way of knowing if its been used today.

Bad times and a naff end to wwhat had been a nice day.

Have you tried finding it via Bluetooth from another phone to see if it is in your house.....assuming you have Bluetooth on in the lost phone.

Bummer, checked each room and no devices found. Still cant get through to orange either been trying for over 3 hours now.

Well after trying to contact orange til 1.30 am (22 calls) then again from 6 am til 3 pm including trip to an orange shop i still had no joy in getting to someone who could put a hold on my phone.

Then someone at work was talking about their car and it suddenly hit me where i had last seen the thing. A quick call to the other half and she had found it. I must have chucked it in a wee pocket under the dash in her corsa.

We had the house upside down, the garage apart, under the seats, in the glovebox boot emptied and somehow missed the pocket.

Me too. Definatly changing to a new phone company though as soon as i can. I know they had some probs with their system but its shocking they have such poor service especially for people who may have had a phone stolen or lost.

I was papping my pants though imagining a huge bill.
