Failed to change the rear pads and discs on the vectra today. Dont understand it as I have done by brothers SAAB and my mates astra. However today the piston on the rear reused to wind back in.

That will do the job fine and you will also have the adapters to do other cars in the future.

This is the one most people have bought and cheaper, but you need the vec c adaptor,i think the centres on the adaptor need to be 21mm.

That's the one I have, you say it's possible to get Vec C adaptors?

    Yep.

EDIT: Just noticed the pins distance is 32mm so not right for our cars. Wonder what Vx they are for then.

Looks like it's this one. It'd actually help if the data on the Laser web site actually stated the pins distance for the various adapters!! They list a Vx kit that covers the Vectra C/Signum but not much use if you already have the tool and just want the relevant adapter! The adapter for my Laser tool was another adapter just 'customised' that was machined up but for that price I may just order on of the Laser ones as a spare.

Yep, that's exactly what was done to the adapter I have and works fine. Sometimes in can not engage 100% firmly but never enough to cause a problem, but for only a tenner I'm tempted to get the correct one.

I did as macdad said above and got the adaptor here for less than a tenner,

worked a treat but took ages to find as for some reason only known to Vauxhall the veccy C size is different to other Vauxhalls!
