    Default Lowering and Warranty

Ok, unfortunately my veccy is a company car which means any mods done to it have to ensure it won't ruin the warranty. Therefore, does anyone know whether using the Irmscher springs would actually invalidate the Vx warranty?

If you are wondering why I would want to mod a company car, basically I intend to buy the car from the lease company at the end of its lease period.

As it's a vauxhall approved conversion your warranty will stand providing it is fitted at a VX garage..

all irmscher stuff is approved so won't invalidate your warranty BTW

What he just said! Had the Irmscher kit fitted to mine (by dealer) and the warranty is all intact - confirmed by having the pair of rear dampers replaced when one developed a slight leak.

I had irmy springs fitted on mine and it never affected the warranty, but i was a little dissapointed that it didnt lower it enough. After speaking to the vx dealers if you buy another lowering kit AS long AS they fitted it they would still maintain it would not affect the warranty as long as they fitted it.

I never knew that, I'm thinking twice about the irmscher kit then, and I know its only going to give me another 15mm front/10mm back

for £450 its a lot to lower it that much, might look at Eibach and see what they have
