    Default detailing a wheel!

The rims on the car were all re-finished (painted not powder coated) before I collected but one of them was badly finished inside that, had always mystified me till a moment of clarity struck.
it was obvious that the wheel from the rear n/s had had a jammed caliper and was severely caked in crap and despite a mediocre attempt by Evans Halshaw valeting bay the paint shop just painted over the baked on debris.

I have NO pictures as I was up to my pit's in MUCK like I have never experienced with this but will paint a picture with words.

I found that the black debris was protected by a layer of laquer and silver paint so I did the following.
    1. Wet sanded the inside of the rims with 1600 wet and dry to break the seal
    2. Iron-X, OMG this stuff is incredible people, the residue melted away in a sea of ruby red and a brush and blunt metal prod loosened the rest
    3. lashings of Bilberry wheel cleaner
    4. washed out and washed off

Result is I have four presentable wheels once again. my only question is, how the heck do you not know a caliper is jammed on it is so visibly obvious and can be felt and seen in your economy!
