    Default vx locking wheel nuts

got round to my final calliper, to be painted today and would you believe it the locking nut key decided to give up .

i know the 2 fronts were put on with guns , never again will i let them do this as i had to use the handle of my bending machine as leverage i had to do this on my o/s front.

so called the aa bloke out and he used some sort of hammer on kit , he was just about to give in and whallo job sorted , however he did state that i should of de-flated my tyre as there would be no questions asked as i stated to the call center i had a slow puncture , as it was not really a break down.

so ive got no locking nuts at the mo, anyone reccommend a good set not the vx soft rubbish

McGard Ultra are the best - but no locking wheel nut puts up with being used with an airgun, so if you're rolling into a tyre fitters without bothering to remove the locking wheel nuts beforehand yourself, get used to calling the AA out.

I've got a set of the McGard ones on mine but as they have no spinning collar they could be a bit easy to get off as people say you can just hammer on a socket.
Also put another set of VX ones on to just for piece of mind.
