CD70 Onboard Computer??

Hi guys, just wondering how do I get the onboard computer to come up on my CD70?? I seen it on my friends CD30 and he can check his mpg etc, very cool just wondering how i get it on mine???

Oh and i "bought" a firmware update of the net, will it be ok?? I did the same for the new maps and it worked fine

Go to the dealers and have them activate it.. its a matter of changing the Codeindex to 1 higher than your current one.

Thanks Can it be done by Tech2 or equivalent?? Dealers are quite far away

It can be done by Tech2 or a full version of OpCom.

I'll ring a few mechs tomorrow and see if there are any Tech2 etc. nearby.

I'm assuming it's pretty straight forward??

Quite easy.. but ofcourse it depends on the operator of the tech2.

It is VERY easy with an original Op-Com unit... I have activated Check Control and Board Computer in both my Cavalier Mk3 (Vectra-A) and the wife's Vectra-C..

Took me all of about 5 mins to do

Tech 2 should be just as easy, but there are many dealer technician's who do not know that much about how to use Tech 2..
