    It wont damage it mate

Should say in the handbook through under your engine specs what octane is best but 95 and 98 are standard spec stuff. I use 100 octane shell with my 2.8 and shes fine.

They have just brought out one in Europe with Ethanol in... called E10... that one I'm not so sure about

Its actually better for your engine mate. Tesco momentum is actually the best of the bunch of premium unleaded, you get what you pay for IMO. The tesco stuff is usually cheaper than V-Power etc aswell.

Some people swear by using fuel additives but if you use decent fuel those will never be needed.

As above, the ECU will adjust various settings if it detects you are using a different grade petrol and performance will be altered accordingly.

Yep I always use tesco momentum and its normaly 1/2p cheaper than v-power plus clubcard points add up lol. I also stick half bottle redex every 3rd fill up. Ive noticed from posts on here about 2.2 direct mpg that mine is doing an average 2/3 mpg more in most case's.
Well worth it lol........I have even thought about getting a remap to get better fuel ecomony from using high grade fuel oh and the extra 10-15bhp might be small be may get shot of those flatspots.....

I've started using premium stuff since the fuel prices got so stupidly high...

It's a few pence more per litre (about 4% more total), but I get about 30 miles more to the tank (8-9% more mileage).

Yeah, I know I'm sad to have worked that out! Basically, I'm saving money though!
