Default Vectra C 2.2 Camshaft sensor

Hi i have a vectra 2.2ls ecotech engine. yesterday my car would not start it was just ticking when i turned my key . the traction control light stayed on and the abs was flashing. i got out and pushed on all the relays and since then it has been fine.
i had a diagnostic printed out and at the time it was saying no communication with abs/traction control.. any ideas why?

i also had one done today and the only error showing is "cam shaft sensor"
does anybody know were this is located? i had a look at a few tutorials but none seem to be for the 2.2

    thanks, rob.

Give the first thing in THIS how 2 a go mate. Years ago mine did the same with both ABS/TC lights, a clean of the ABS plug has kept it sweet ever since.

Just been on to confirm the z22se does NOT have a camshaft sensor mate. It takes its info from the crank.

I'd still recon its CIM related mate. Common fault of our age of cars.

The CIM as a whole could be shot mate, its really a dealer fix only mate at a cost of £400. That's if it is the CIM. I think your best bet is getting it plugged into the dealers Tech 2.
