Question losing power since remap on z20net

i had my car remapped in january to 225bhp and had no problems untill a week ago, was on the motorway on the way to work and the car went into limp mode. stopped the car and restarted and the car and spanner went away and ran normally for the rest of the journey. i have a boost pressure gauge fitted and the car boosts to 15psi but feels like its holding back all the time, went to have the c odes read to see if there were any and the garage says there are none :si am positive it has lost power as when i raced my bro down the dual carriageway he anialated me and he's running a 150bhp bmw520 auto.

    any help appreciated

could be one of the charge air bypass valves or both...

also disconnect your battery for 15 minutes and reconnect and see if your power is back (at least for a short time), you need to figure out if its mechanical or a sensor issue (which it normally is)

there only about £20 each.... two minute job to change over as well, just fit the new ones, disconnect the battery to clear the faults again and then give it a run.. They are not off the shelf parts so your dealer will need to order new ones for you, takes a few days. This is not guaranteed to fix your issue but it is a known problem and as resetting your ecu by disconnecting the battery had the desired effect you can be sure its more than likely a sensor problem..

have a read of this thread (hope the link works as my connection is crap), part numbers and and part location pics are in there i think..

MAF issues can drop a car into limp mode, you can try cleaning it with a can of brake cleaner or isopropyl alcohol if you have some but be gentle.

I suspect the code reader used does not pick up some of the minor more telling codes that tech2 or vauxcom would diagnose
