Help on crom strips on windows

Hi everyone ive sold my vectra and have been looking at a sri cdti but ones ive looked at have the crome strips on the windows and some dont is this right becuase i thought that they all had the crom strips on the sri cdti models the one ive looked at is 05 plate one

do you not want the chrome strips then, they stopped fitting them as standard to the SRI models for 1 year only from 05 to 06, a bit hit and miss tbh, mine doesnt have them but another thing on the list to do....

You dont want them TBH. The water gets in to them between the plastic coat and the silver coloured plastic and makes them cloudy which make them look dirty all the time.

I have just sent These people an Email for some close up shots of these stainless ones, not commiting to anything but if they are any good I may go with them but we shall see...
