Yesterday I decided to remove the dead Yucca from the garden. The servere frost in the winter took it,s toll on it and killed it. The Yucca was about Ten feet high, and loverly in the summer when in flower.
We thought we would plant a Plum tree there instead.
It was back breaking work digging the Yucca stump out, it had grown to a depth of about Two foot. I dug down as best as I could not damaging any of the surrounding plants, Then with a 14 pould sledge hammer belted it to loose it.
It was damned hard work. I was nearly finished and sat down to get my breath back, when Larisa came for another go. It was just about to come out I recon. Lasisa gave the stump a good "wobble" it fell over. She exclaimed "Look I have got it out". Yes I said smiling.
Heck do I ache this morning, I hope to give the cars a clean later.
