    Default What no Royalists

Watched the ceromony today , and i thought it was great with all the union jacks and the fly past, and Kate and Will in the old Aston.

Not many occasions you can feel proud to be British in this country, we dont even celabrate ST Georges day ,

Great Day and proud to be British.

Oh don't talk such rubbish, the royal wedding brings in way more than it costs to the country in tourism, TV licensing fees and a hell of a lot more.

Fantastic event, amazing day for the couple and a VERY good thing for this country, bringing a lot of good attention (for once) to this country and showing something this country really is best at and that the rest of the world love. I also think it's done wonders for the general opinion of the Royal family.

What difference does that make? It's not changed because of the royal wedding. Please, at least do a bit of research into the country's finances and how they work before using un-founded "facts" as a way of trying to start an argument

I'm no royalist, but I'm also no republican, I think they do a good job for the country and bring a HUGE amount of money into this country. Like it or not, today was a very good thing for this country.

Could not have said it better my self , although this maybe a contreversial subject as a lot do agree with the Royal Family and what they stand for.

I think they are great for the country and without them it woud be even harder to feel a sense of nationality (british)

Nothing personal, but "monarchy" means nothing to me. There are people who do far more for good causes than this bunch, yet the royals are considered by many to be some sort of deities. Each to their own, but to me it's a joke.
Thankfully, there's the red button so i could watch the snooker semifinals and totally avoided seeing any of this wedding nonsense all evening

By all means enjoy the day all you Monarchists - just don't expect everyone else to support them the way you do.
