I'm looking at options for remaps, and i've come across MotorSport Developments, anyone used them, If so would you recommend them??
can't say I've ever heard of them personnaly I'd stick to the tried and tested companies that way you know the map is proven and safe.
Also I'm new on here but is this not off topic for the off topic room should it not be in tuning or does'nt it work like that.
don't want to annoy the mod or anything just asking

I always tend to use reputable companies for my remaps, from what i've seen on their website they have a national network, similar to that of superchips etc, and they also do their own maps, they also do custom maps and live maps, its the custom map and live map that sparked my interest..
You're right, normally this would be in tuning, I put this in off-topic as i've bought a non vauxhall
looking at the site they tune ford rs/st,Evo's and Imprezas so out of curiosity which did you get?
Range rover sport bit different to the vec.
Out of curiosity do you know what change in lb.ft you'll get to go along with the 45bhp and how the power is applied throughout. Might be worth asking to see a dyno graph if there is'nt one already there for you to see
It's defo a bit different to the Vec estate i had, but decided in the end to go back to a comfy 4x4, Done the speed is important thing a long time ago, now want some comfort..
TorquingBHP's remap will add 65-70 lb.ft, taking the stock figure from 442lb-ft to around 500 lb.ft, TorquingBHP carry out remaps for a big Land Rover dealer, so the maps been tested, Motorsport Developments will take it to 460 lb.ft and superchips will take it to around 480 lb.ft.
Just seen that celtic tuning's remap will raise the stock 442 lb.ft to 520 lb.ft, but not heard many good things about celtic tuning, and their map figures are always on the high side, whether thats to temp people to buy or not im not sure..
Have you got the car now Pete?
Hi ya Steve, I collected it on Wednesday morning, very happy with, and for a big car its very nippy, I gues thats the twin turbo..
Not got many pics, i'll take some more today as the car's been modded since the pics below were taken.. New wheels, new grille and side vents
Wow. That's quite a motor. Stunning in fact.
Next time I see Paul I'll ask him where his customers go to get their 4x4s tuned. He doesn't do remaps but he gets to work on some very exotic stuff including some straight out of the showroom.
