Default MY12 CDTI's to get Start/Stop tech as std, however...

    Noticed on fleet news today,

MY12 2.0 CDTI (130 and 160) models will get Start/Stop tech added to bring emission down under the 120g/km threshold, thus making them tax free for first year and £30/yr thereafter and significantly reducing company car tax bills.

    http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/fleet/late...a-sub-120.html

Curiously, it only lists Exclusiv and SRI models (inc. tourers), no SE or Elite, though I can't imagine they will be excluded somehow.

However, with the good comes the bad - the new price lists were issued today too and there is an across the board average £500 price hike, plus White paint is now a £100 optional extra, listed as "Brilliant paint" .

Solid Blue is now the only free colour - Metallic options are £495.

Wonder if they'll add Start/Stop tech to the Twin Turbo Oilers?

I would expect so, EU regulations impose an average 130g/km of CO2 emissions across a manufacturers range by 2015, so this is one way to achieve this.

From what I understand, stop start will be across the range within 12 months.

Vauxhall are probably doing Exclusive and SRi first as these two models represent over 70% of fleet sales, and this is where the low emmisions rating will be of interest.
