I've fitted the vents and all the ducting but nothing comes out. It would appear that a new air distribution unit would be needed. Big job, dash would need to come out etc

The ones in the centre arm rest Derek? Nightmare. I've added the rear vents and pipework under the centre console, right up to the air handling unit. To get them to work you apparently need to remove the dashboard and change part of the air handling unit that sits behind the heater control/stereo area of the dash. I may take a trip to my local scrappys next week and have a look at what involved. Most cars have there have most of the dash out anyway so its pretty easy to see what's your looking at without wrecking your own car.

Another of VX's cost cuttings I guess. Why not just have one air handling unit and just blank off hole to the rear vents!
