    Default Issues!

    OK, my front shock absorber broke a while ago so i took the car off the road then after 2 weeks off road, the engine stopped responding. I have now had 3 people look at it and all have said the same thing: ECU is dead so...

    Anybody know how much a new ecu would cost?

    I havent had an electrician look at it but the rac have said that it may of been 'spiked' when i jumped my mums car!

    get a second hand one from a scappie from the same car, year, etc and make sure you have the code for it, should save you quite a bit..

    mmm... thats good news then. i have had a look on ebay and nothing there but i have found a company that sell new ones between £200 and £350. I have enquired about my car so will update when i get a response.
