    Default Back end kicking out

Everytime i hit a bump in the road with the rear wheels it feels like the back end is gonna kick out! It's quite a scary feeling but thankfully the traction control brings it back in very quickly (although i could bring it back in myself if needed)

It's not very good when u need to transport kids in the car on a daily basis. Is this a shock/spring issue? Or a rear axle bush issue?

Rear shocks mate. Really easy fix, only 2 bolts. See EuroCarParts for some B4's

Thought the TC only did the front wheels unless you are running a RWD setup?

How do you know the TC is doing this?

Are you sure the car isn't actually fitted with ESP, which then controls the brakes making it feel like the rear brakes are being applied
As above TC controls the brakes and throttle, but it does control the rears as well (but very rarely)

Ive had rear shocks go before but never felt as if it was stepping out. Normally its just a clunk as there is nothing to absorb the shock

Only time I have ever got a FWD car to step out from the rear is going into a corner too hard and then lifting off the gas
