    Default Halfords oil

    Anyone use this?

    How much would 5ltrs be from vauxhall?

    You can buy better oil cheaper from asda or the net.

    Try to get a trade card for halfrauds , it knocks a £45 gallon of oil down to around £25-£30
    It's also good for batteries and other servicing parts .
    You need proof of being in the motor trade , or get someone who is to get a card for you , it only takes a few mins in store .

    the halfords oil seems ok, as it meets the specifications of GM, if you look in your car manual it will say that oil should meet a certain specification, and has a code on there, which is also on the halfords oil. not many of the supermarket ones do, i know asda dont...

    The halfords oil is spot on , especially if you get the trade discount.

    The important thing about oil is changing frequently rather than choosing the best most expensive brand.

    every 20,000 miles according to the manual but some people do it more often. Frequent oil changed is one of the best things you can do for your engine.

    semi synth from vauxhall is about a tenner, fully synth is about 20 quid ish they have offers for packs of 4 though as well, i change my oil every 5k as oil is cheap engines arent, mind my misses does mostly town miles, i base it on roughly once a year.
