Need a favour from someone with air con thats needing regassed

Do the blowers inside your car change in tone when the a/c button is pressed and do the revs fluctuate for a second?

I'm sure mine needs to be re-gassed. I get a loud hissing noise when I turn the AC on and I think it doesn't get as cold as it did last summer.

Ah I need to know from a car that has no gas at all. I think I have gas as the revs fluctuate and the fan gets faster.

I was under the impression that if there is no gas then nothing happens at all.

If this is the case then my compressor clutch is definatly at fault

I seem to recall when mine had no gas, nothing happened at all. The compressor did not kick in and the revs stayed the same.

Mine needed regassed and and nothing happed until i got it done.
