your going to have to take the seat out and lift up carpets and put some one in your footwell and do a water test in different areas to try and pin point where its coming from

I hear its something to do with your pollen filter. make sure is isnt blocked. take it out and check all the duckts.
I'm sure someone will clarify this.

Yea, that will be a blocked drain hole in the front scuttle panel. Lift the bonnet then lift the plastic inspection flap and you will see the pollen filter, just in front of that is the large drain hole and it will be full of old leaves. Push it through with your finger and your also best to replace the pollen filter. HTH

i done the scuttle drain thingy and all was well, had it in for a service tonight my mate a diesel fitter had a look and he reckons the windscreen needs taking out and refitting, on inspection the drivers side of the windscreen was a tadge loose. makes sense as only the drivers side footwell is damp.

Wow, never seen that before. There is another drain hole on the drivers side. If the windscreen is sealed then that being blocked alone shouldn't cause any problems, but if the screen isn't sealed then....... For a quick cheap fix try and get your hand in and clear that one as well but on modern cars the screen gives strength to the car so in time that will need looking at as well.
